Our annual expenditure on education is around Rs 900,000.
What is your annual expenditure on medical assistance?
Our annual expenditure on medical is around Rs 70,000.
How do you select your beneficiaries?
First we distribute our application forms. Then our selection committee scrutinises and shortlists the application. This is followed by a personal interview with the students and their parents. Then one of the members of our selection committee personally visits the applicant’s home to assess their economic condition. The selection committee meets again to make the final selection of the beneficiaries.
What are the basic criteria for final selection?
The monthly income of the household should be less than Rs 3,000. Applicants from broken homes, i.e., families where the father does not provide for the family, are chosen. Applicant should have scored above 80% in the previous exam. Both the applicant and the parent of the applicant should be genuinely interested in education.
Do you provide for school education or college education?
We provide for both school and college education.
What is your expense ratio?
We minimise our expenses to be able to support more people. Our current expense ratio is less than 10%.
